They have arrived promptly and the quality of your packaging has ensured that the 9 models are not damaged. I am very pleased that I have found you, as you are my now my only chance of ordering Airfix models. I am English, but have worked in Germany, and lived in France for the past 20 years. Over that time I have seen toy shops disappear in all three countries. It has now come to the stage where in my area of Germany the last toy shop has closed that would order Airfix models for me. There are now only 2 shops left and they only stock Revell. One of these shops did try to order Airfix models for me, but since Heller Germany took over the distribution of Airfix models in Germany, models I have ordered have just stop arriving. I have been in touch with Humbrol in the UK, and have told them the problem, but they were not interested. As for France the largest toy shop in Strasbourg closed many years ago. Another remained for a long time, but has now been forced out into suburbs, it still remains a good model shop, but the area dedicated to plastic models and the size of its range have decreased drastically. There is only 1 shop that remains in Strasbourg but this has to be described as a toy shop and not a model shop. Its range consist of about 10 different Revell models. Supermarkets and Department stores both in Germany and France, have now all stopped stocking models except at Christmas when a few of the shops will have about a dozen different Revell and in France Heller models. As for England I am sure you are aware of the almost extinction of model and toy shops. The last shop where I could buy Airfix was Beaties, and while a few of these shops still exist as MZ. The only one I know that stocks Airfix is in High Holborn. They have also decreased the range that they keep in stock. With such a decrease in the number of model shops I think that in the future only Internet shops like you be able to survive. Your market is getting smaller as fewer people are interested in building models. So you have to be able to supply to a much larger customer pool to survive. This is something that the Internet allows you. I wish you all the best, and will remain a customer as long as your service and packaging remain as good as they are now.

I would just like to thank you for your prompt and efficient manner with which you attended to the our order. It makes a change these days. My son has a couple of smaller Mamod engines which he has always had great fun with, firing and running at our model railway exhibition. His reaction and the look of delight on his face, when he received this Mamod Fire Engine - for his 21st birthday, was a delight to see. It is now sitting pride of place on our hearth.
